Fudge and mittens...

It was my Auntie’s birthday today so I took myself out to the suburbs armed with cosy Ugg sheepskin mittens and ginger cupcakes with fudge icing. Perfect gifts for the horrid grey days we’ve been faced with lately… 

Giant wind up dolls, luminous dresses strung up on an ancient tree, blossom painted over crumbling walls, Tim Walker is my idea of photography heaven. 

A while ago I went, with the boyfriend, to see his enchanting exhibition at The Design Museum and emerged onto the blustery Thames clutching an enormous book and a poster. 

I love huge photography books and this is by far my favourite. Every morning I flick over a new page and suddenly the world is beautiful again.
